In the village of Konyavo, Western Bulgaria, during an operation of Bulgaria's organized crime police and the police in Kyustendil, 16 kg of heroin have been found. Two people were detained, one of them with Macedonian documents and the other a Bulgarian citizen with criminal records. The Interior Ministry has been monitoring the detainees for months. According to sources of BNR's Horizont channel, the drugs were to be transported outside Bulgaria. This is probably an international channel.

Police searches of addresses continue.
