The queue of people waiting to cross the Bulgarian-Greek border at the Kulata border checkpoint is kilometers long, as the cars are being stopped in front of the border checkpoint in order to avoid crowds, BTA reported. The traffic is expected to be intense throughout the day.

Passengers crossing the border with cars and buses must present a negative test or certificate for vaccination against Covid-19 (made not earlier than 14 days).
Travelers can also present a certificate that they have recovered from Covid-19 (2 to 9 months from the registration of the disease). The document must be issued by an authorized body, in accordance with national law, in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish or Russian.
