One of the companies, top borrowers from the Bulgarian Development Bank to repay 40 million Leva early

“One of the 8 companies which are the biggest borrowers from the Bulgarian Development Bank, with a loan amounting to a total of 1 billion Leva, is going to repay 40 million Leva of its debt early,” said Minister of Economy in the caretaker government Kiril Petkov.

“I hope that this 40 million will go to at least 40 companies, I would even say – 400,” Minister Petkov said.

Kiril Petkov announced the names of the bank’s new management, and added that from now on it will focus on supporting small and medium-sized businesses, with priority given to startups and enterprises for innovative projects.
