BNR still most trusted media brand in Bulgaria

The Bulgarian National Radio, BNR, is once again the most trusted media brand in Bulgaria, according to the Reuters media digital news report for 2021.

The biggest share of Bulgarians – 72% trust the news on BNR, the report indicates, followed by the national TV networks – BNT with 70%, bTV – 67% and Nova TV – 67%.

In public reach the BNR is 6th after Nova TV, bTV and BNT, 24 Chasa newspaper and Bulgaria on Air TV. The Bulgarian National Radio reaches 11% of the public in Bulgaria at least 3 times a week and 18% on a weekly basis. 

The BNR website reaches 8% of the public at least 3 times a week and 13% on a weekly basis. 86% of Bulgarians say that their main news sources are online, including social media.
