The black box of the MiG-29 that crashed in the Black Sea, piloted by the deceased Major Valentin Terziev (47), has been found. The machine disappeared in the Black sea near Shabla during an exercise on the night of June 9. The flight recorder is on board the Tsibar minesweeper.

Information on the causes of the accident is expected to be found in the flight recorder. A prosecutor's investigation is underway, and the black box is one of the physical evidence, so the details of the crash may not be announced quickly.
Although the black box has been in the water for a long time, there is hope that it has not been critically damaged, BNR correspondent in Varna Daniela Stoykova reported.
The Minister of Defense Georgi Panayotov is expected to give a briefing.
