Roma communities in Bulgaria are not particularly interested in vaccines

Despite the Ministry of Health's efforts to promote immunization among Roma, their interest remains low. There are already mediators in the neighbourhoods, but what worries the community is the information about side effects. Mediators, for their part, report that interest in vaccines is low overall, as Roma avoid vaccinating their children with compulsory vaccines.
Unlike their colleagues in the capital, the Regional Health Inspectorate's mobile team in Haskovo is reporting a stronger interest in immunization. The health mediator and the chief epidemiologist of Haskovo are present at the site of the immunization and are conducting an information campaign. This also affects the trust of people who are interested in the Pfizer/BioNtech and Janssen vaccines.
