President gives national flag to Bulgarian participants in Olympic Games

President Rumen Radev has presented the national flag to the Bulgarian Olympic delegation, which will take part in the Olympic Games in Tokyo. The head of state congratulated the athletes who won Olympic quotas.

"We all know that in the past 18 months, sports, the Olympic movement and your training have been subjected to unprecedented challenges, but you have shown what sportsmanship and will to win mean," President Radev said.

The President wished the athletes to proudly wave the Bulgarian flag in the Land of the Rising Sun. "Compete with dignity, do your best and know that we will be with you all the time," the Bulgarian Head of State said.
