Covid-19 patients in Bulgaria are now below 9,000

The new cases of coronavirus in the country for the past 24 hours are 73. This is 0.5% of the 13,903 tests performed, according to the Unified Information Portal. According to statistics, a slight distortion can be expected in this indicator, because the summer season has begun and many people take tests to travel without specific complaints. There are no registered new infections in 6 districts of the country.

The number of actively registered patients has dropped to 8,905.  A total of 1,434 patients are currently hospitalized as 163 infected people are being treated in intensive care units. 
Six people have lost the battle with the disease in the past day. 273 people were reported recovered.
12,314 people have been vaccinated in the last 24 hours. The total doses administered so far are 1,773,581. A total of 812,175 people have completed the immunization cycle.
