Bulgaria aims to attract US investments in IT sector

Bulgaria aims to attract more investments from USA in IT and innovations, President Rumen Radev stated at a meeting with a delegation of the US Congress led by Senators Ben Cardin and Roger Wicker, and Congressman Joe Wilson.

The meeting took place within the frameworks of the Three Seas Initiative. The representatives of Congress highlighted the US’ support for the Three Seas and the initiative’s contribution to the energy diversification of the region and the infrastructure cohesion among the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. Other talking points included partnership in the fight against corruption and the US sanctions imposed on Bulgarian citizens under the Global Magnitsky Act.
