CEC spokesperson: There are no grounds for challenging the vote

There are a total of 56 polling stations in the country where machine voting has been suspended or has not started at all. This is 0.49% of all 10,516 voting machines, so I don't think there will be any reason for challenging the vote. This was stated by the Deputy Chairperson of the Central Election Commission Rositsa Mateva.

All 421 voting machines outside the country work without any problems, according to information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, BNR reporter Maria Kostova reported.

Violations on today's election day have been relatively few, said CEC Deputy Chairman Tsvetozar Tomov. According to him, voter turnout is relatively low, possibly below 3 million.

So far, the CEC has received results only from Australia and New Zealand. The elections there ended at 2 pm Bulgarian time.
