0.4% coronavirus positivity rate in Bulgaria in past day

74 is the number of newly registered coronavirus cases out of 17,787 tests performed in the country in the past 24 hours, a positivity rate of 0.4%, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show.

The highest number of new infections is in Sofia – 24. In 5 regions of the country – Vratsa, Montana, Pernik, Haskovo and Shumen – no new infections have been reported.

7,823 is the number of active cases in the country, 738 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospital, 94 of them in intensive care.

10 coronavirus patients have died in the past 24 hours, 114 have recovered.

11,918 doses of vaccine have been administered on Tuesday, bringing the total number of vaccinations in the country to 1,872,907. The number of people who are now fully vaccinated in Bulgaria is 857,507.
