The Bulgarian government has approved nearly BGN 1 million for the summer vacation of 2,577 students from 103 schools under the National Together Again Programme. The programme, funded under the national budget, provides for six-day tourist trips to overcome the effects of Covid-19.
The activities during the break are expected to improve the healthy lifestyle of the students and to help them in the socialization after the remote learning during the last two school years. Activities in the fields of science, arts, technology and sports are included.
A total of BGN 15 million has been allocated under the programme, which means that other students will also benefit from the organized trips.
