Passenger vehicles formed a ten kilometer long line at Kalotina checkpoint near the Bulgaria-Serbia border. It takes the passengers at least 5 hours to enter Bulgaria from Serbia.

Most people waiting at the Bulgaria-Serbia border are driving vehicles with German registration plates. They are most likely travelling to Turkey. The Turkish nationals working in Western European countries usually return to Turkey in July and August to visit their relatives, reported the Bulgarian National Television.
