For yet another day, doctors and nurses from the Pirogov Hospital for Emergency Medicine protested in front of the hospital’s building. They call for the resignation of caretaker Minister of Health Dr. Stoycho Katsaraov and for the return of dismissed director Prof. Asen Baltov. The doctors also call for the immediate resignation of the director of the Health Insurance Fund and for the introduction of a clinical pathway to finance the treatment of patients with post-COVID-19 syndrome.

On July 22, the protests will move in front of the Presidency in Sofia. Protesters say that it was the President who appointed the caretaker Minister of Health and he was responsible for his actions.
