Bulgaria reports 193 new daily infections of Covid-19

193 are the new cases of coronavirus in the country for the past 24 hours. This is the largest number of new daily infections since June 7, 2021, when the number was 208. 0.92% of the 20,910 tests returned positive, according to the National Coronavirus Information Portal. 

The highest number of new infections were registered in Sofia - 74, followed by Plovdiv with 19 and Burgas with 13. No new cases have been registered in the districts of Ruse, Pernik, Montana, Lovech, Kyustendil, Kardzhali and Vidin.
Currently, there are 7,456 active cases in the country. The number of hospitalized patients is 726 with 73 patients in intensive care. 
In the last 24 hours, 5 people died with established Covid-19 infection.
8,538 vaccines were administered on Monday, bringing the total number of vaccine shots at 1,976,628. Currently, 970,442 people have completed the immunization cycle.
