“If ITN is not successful in forming a government and the president hands a cabinet-forming mandate to the Bulgarian Socialist Party, it will propose that the caretaker government continue to function,” BSP leader Kornelia Ninova stated after today’s meeting of the party’s National Council.

The decision of the party council is for the talks on the formation of a cabinet with ITN to continue. There is no definite view, as yet, on whether the BSP will support the prospective government of Slavi Trifonov’s party, Kornelia Ninova announced, adding that many of the policies set down in ITN’s declaration today are not satisfactory.
