Bulgarian rhythmic gymnasts advance to final in Tokyo

The Rhythmic Gymnastics group of Bulgaria ranked with the best result in the qualification for the all-around at the Olympic Games in Tokyo. Simona Dyankova, Stefani Kiryakova, Madeleine Radukanova, Laura Traats and Erika Zafirova scored 91,800 points from both combinations. 

The Russian group holding the previous Olympic title finished with 89,050 points, followed by Italy with 87,150 points. 

Israel (84,650), China (83,600), Ukraine (82,700), Japan (79,725) and Belarus (79,725) will also compete in the final on Sunday. 

The competition starts at 11.00 local time (5.00 am Bulgarian time), as the results of the qualifications are not taken into account.
