Intermittent showers in part of Southern Bulgaria and on the Black Sea coast on Wednesday

Weather forecast for Bulgaria for August 11, 2021

It will be mostly sunny on Wednesday. In the afternoon intermittent rain showers are expected in the southwestern parts. There are conditions for hail. The maximum temperatures will range from 33 °C to 38 °C, for Sofia up to 33 °C.

It will be sunny over the Black Sea coast with cloudy spells but it will rain only in some parts. Maximum temperatures will be range from 30 °C on Cape Shabla to 32 °C south in Bourgas. The temperature of the sea water is 26 °C -27 °C. 

It will be sunny over the mountains until noon, then short rainfalls and thunderstorms are expected. Significant precipitation is possible in the Rila and Rhodope Mountains. The maximum temperature at 1,200 metres will be up to 27 °C, at 2,000 metres up to 19 °C. In the resorts of Borovets and Pamporovo daytime highs will reaach 26 °C, and in Bansko and Dobrinishte up to 30 °C.
