The information provided by the Director of the Sofia Regional Health Inspectorate Dancho Penchev that “Sofia will be in the red zone on the basis of the 7 day-analysis" and that "new restrictions will be introduced in Bulgaria’s capital" is not true, announced Bulgaria’s Ministry of Health. The fourteen-day morbidity in Sofia-city is 89 Covid-19 cases per 100,000 people, which according to the National Coronavirus Response Plan, does not require the imposition of additional restrictions.
