Two Bulgarian boats continue to the semifinals of the World Rowing Junior Championship held in Bulgaria's second-biggest city Plovdiv.

The pair Ivan Yankulov and Tsvetomir Malinov with a powerful final sprint overtook the boat of Greece, which also continues to the semifinals.
The other semifinalist is the boat of Hristo Neshev, Ivan Tabakov, Vasil Shuntov and Stefan Mutich. The places for the semifinals were two and three boats literally rushed in the last meters in the fight for victory. The Bulgarians took the second position only 6 hundredths after the winners from Ukraine and 61 hundredths ahead of the Serbs.
