A small two-seater airplane came down last night in the vicinity of Mirkovo village, Pirdop municipality, the Fire Safety and Civil Protection Directorate General has announced.
Two people were injured. One has been admitted to the St. Anna hospital in Sofia in serious condition with multiple injuries, and has undergone surgery. The other has been admitted to the intensive care unit of Pirogov emergency hospital, again with multiple injuries.
According to initial data the plane was without registration and came down after getting caught up in power lines.
