Opponents to vaccination and to coronavirus restrictions organized a sparse protest in the centre of Sofia, BNR’s Anelia Djambazka reports.
From the city centre the protesters marched along the central streets of Sofia, stopping briefly at the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education, and then the Presidency. A bigger protest is planned for later tonight in front of the National Assembly building. The protesters say they are against the possible introduction of mandatory vaccination and the “discrimination of the unvaccinated in public life”.
The restaurant business is also threatening protests if the restrictions proposed by State Health Inspector Angel Kunchev are imposed.
