Some passengers at the central railway and bus stations in Sofia ignore the anti-epidemic measures and do not believe the information about the pandemic. According to a BNR poll, many persons travelling via public transport underestimate the situation and do not worry that they may be spreading the disease. Passengers returning from abroad are more responsible, where wearing masks is mandatory everywhere.

The situation is similar at Sofia Airport, where, although rarer, there are also travellers who ignore the measures.
