Bulgarian Socialist Party will keep the exploratory mandate until the budget is updated

The leader of the Bulgarian Socialist Party, Kornelia Ninova, told parliament that she did not find understanding on behalf of the so-called "parties of the protest" to form a cabinet, so the only reason not to immediately return the exploratory mandate of the president is the update of the state budget. She submitted a proposal to speed up its voting by shortening the deadlines and called on the parties in the National Assembly to take responsibility. According to Kornelia Ninova, if the deputies work overtime, the update can be adopted at second reading on Tuesday.

Later, after heated discussion in the plenary, the majority rejected the proposal for a shortened time between the two reading of the budget amendments.
