Bulgaria registered 1,640 new daily infections

During the last 24 hours, Bulgaria has registered 1,640 new cases of coronavirus out of the 30,011 tests performed, according to data from the Unified Information Portal. 5.5% of the samples gave a positive result. 

The highest number of new infections is in Sofia - 254, in Plovdiv - 167 and in Varna - 143. 
There are currently 4,070 new patients in hospital - 334 of them in intensive care units. 
50 people died while 822 were cured in the past day. 
The active cases currently number 33,789. 
Yesterday 12,199 coronavirus vaccines were administered and with them the total number of vaccinations in Bulgaria became 2,349,025. There are 1,196,017 people with completed immunization.
