Nearly 95% of the hospitalized patients and the people who died from Covid-19 are unvaccinated, Bulgaria’s caretaker Minister of Health Stoycho Katsarov said for the BNR. Minister Katsarov added that the vaccination of senior citizens was his priority. Premier Boyko Borissov decided to stop the vaccination with AstraZeneca himself and when Bulgaria resumed inoculations with the AstraZeneca vaccine, no one wanted to receive this vaccine and 4.5 million negotiated doses remained unused, noted Stoycho Katsarov.
