Eurobarometer: Bulgarians remain Euro-optimists

85% of Bulgarians believe that the EU should provide funds to member states only if they respect the rule of law, according to an August Eurobarometer survey. 81 percent of Europeans agree. 60 percent of Bulgarians believe that there should be effective control over the allocation of money under the "Next Generation EU" recovery plan. 69 percent of Bulgarians expect the plan wll help Bulgaria overcome the negative effects of the  pandemic.

62% of Bulgarians have a positive attitude towards the EU, and 18% - negative. 
43 percent of EU citizens define the fight against climate change as a priority of the community, while only 28% of Bulgarians consider environmental policy to be the leading one.
