Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 11 September 2021

Warm autumn weather at the end of the week

On Saturday the weather in Bulgaria will be mostly sunny and windless over the whole country. In the afternoon cloudy spells are expected over the eastern and mountainous areas, but no precipitation. Daytime temperatures will rise and highs will reach 24 °C to 29 °C. In Sofia the minimum temperatures will be at 8 °C and the maximum up to 24 °C.

A moderate wind from the north-northeast will blow along the Black Sea coast. The maximum temperatures will be from 22 °C on the northern cape Shabla, to 25 °C south of Golden Sands and Ahtopol. The temperature of the sea water will be 23 degrees.
It will also be sunny over the mountains, with cloudy spells in the afternoon, but no precipitation. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 metres will be up to 18 °C, and at 2,000 meters up to 12 °C. In the resorts of Pamporovo and Borovets highs will reach 17 °C, and in Bansko - up to 21 °C.
On Sunday and until the middle of the new week there will be scattered clouds and sunshine. Temperatures will rise by another degree or two and the daytime highs in most parts of the country will be between 25 °C and 30 °C, predicts the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology.
