GERB call on President to dismiss head of Revenue Agency

GERB has already accused former caretaker Minister of Finance Assen Vassilev of hiding the fact that the head of the National Revenue Agency he appointed knew about due taxes of more than 750,000 euros before selling his company Granex Trader to a low-income citizen and causing financial damage to the state. GERB showed a response by Minister Vassilev, sent on the last working day of the 46th National Assembly. It shows that it was Rumen Spetsov who accepted and signed the audit report for his company.

"From now on, the main question is if President Rumen Radev, with the new caretaker government, would continue to keep Mr. Spetsov as head of the agency," GERB party said.

The new caretaker Minister of Finance Valeri Belchev confirmed that he will continue to work with the executive director of the National Revenue Agency Rumen Spetsov.
