The price of electricity for businesses is at shock levels, the same is the case with alternative fuels such as gas and coal, the Association of Industrial Capital in Bulgaria warned at a meeting with Energy Minister Andrey Zhivkov. He, in turn, explained that Bulgaria has one of the lowest electricity prices, but the state of the European markets is reflected in our country. According to him, the goal at the moment is not to cause bankruptcies.
The minister added that there is currently no shortage of electricity production and no option is being discussed to limit its exports. However, changes in the rules of stock exchange trading are being discussed in order to eliminate possible abuses.
