Cruise shipping along Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast resumed

The cruise ship SeaDream II will dock at Burgas’ seaport on 26 September, after a pause in cruise shipping of several years due to geopolitical problems in the Black Sea and the Covid pandemic.  

The ship set out on 21 September from Pireas in Greece and includes visits to Greek and Turkish islands. In Bulgaria the passengers have booked trips to Nessebar and Sozopol.

After Burgas SeaDream II is to set sail for the Romanian port of Konstanta, Odessa in Ukraine, then Varna in Bulgaria to end its cruise in Istanbul, Turkey. The 65 passengers on board are from Great Britain, Canada, Norway, Germany, Denmark and Switzerland. The next time the cruise ship will be in Burgas is on 3 October.
