A total of 211 kindergarten and school classes have been placed under quarantine because of the coronavirus pandemic, announced Bulgaria’s caretaker Minister of Education and Science Professor Nikolay Denkov. So far, their percentage is low, clarified Minister Denkov.

“Currently, we are experiencing a second Covid-19 plateau, which is slightly higher as compared to the one registered on September 15”, Nikolay Denkov commented and added that if the number of newly infected begins to increase over the next two weeks, stricter measures such as distance learning or rotational learning will be introduced. “35% of the teachers have been inoculated against Covid-19 with one vaccine dose. However, the increasing coronavirus morbidity among teachers is due to other factors”, Professor Nikolay Denkov said further. In his words, the number of vaccinated teachers is constantly increasing.
