A Thousand Splendid Suns from Afghanistan in Sofia

Amnesty International Bulgaria and CVS - Bulgaria are organizing a Living Library on the topic "A Thousand Splendid Suns of Afghanistan", which will be held today in Sofia from 6 pm to 8 pm in the garden of the workspace for shared use SOHO, 4 Iskar Str.

"A personal story told and heard in human terms can leave a lasting impression by reading hundreds of pages on issues that concern us," said Amnesty International. 
The event will bring together Sofia residents and guests with representatives of the Afghan community in Bulgaria, as well as social workers and lawyers who know the challenges facing Afghans seeking peace and security in Europe.
Admission is free, the event will be held in Bulgarian and English.
