90% of the new Covid-19 hospitalizations are among unvaccinated

2,050 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 21,078 tests performed, data of coronavirus.bg show. 10% of the tests have returned positive result. More than 85% of the new cases of Covid-19 are among unvaccinated.

There are 43,959 active cases of coronavirus infection. 5,201 patients are being treated in hospital, 462 of them in intensive care units. 525 people with established coronavirus infection were admitted to hospital in the past day. 90.48% of the new Covid-19 hospitalizations are among unvaccinated. 70 people have died and 1,541 have been reported cured in the past day. 8, 914 vaccines were administered in Bulgaria on Thursday.
