According to the latest survey of the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control, the risk of infection remains high in countries where vaccination rate is below 70%, noted Angel Kunchev.
"Bulgaria and Romania are the only EU countries with vaccination rates below 50%. Bulgaria has a vaccination rate of 19% and if we continue this way, we are to face big risks", Dr. Kunchev commented. "If we had reached a vaccination rate of 70%, there would have been no coronavirus restrictions in this country.
