US ambassador to Bulgaria Herro Mustafa visits Bulgarian-US wind farm on Black Sea coast

US Ambassador to Bulgaria Herro Mustafa met with the mayors of the Union of Bulgarian Black Sea Local Authorities today to discuss initiative in the sphere of culture and energy, the US embassy in Sofia has announced.

The meeting was part of Ambassador Mustafa’s visit to the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, which included a tour of the joint Bulgarian-US project St. Nikola – the biggest wind farm in the country, located in Kavarna municipality. Ambassador Mistafa also attended the opening of a travelling photo exhibition, dedicated to the American Southwest, by Bulgarian photographer and journalist Antoni Georgiev. The photographs are on display in the American corner of the Pencho Slaveykov regional library in Varna.
