Covid patients in Bulgaria's Silistra receive treatment only via telephone

Photo: Silistra Municipality

Bulgaria's town of Silistra on the Danube is still among the districts that do not appear in the list of health facilities where Covid zones have been opened, BNR reported. There, the practice of ordering patients to receive telephone treatment or to be referred by their GPs to the Emergency Departments of hospitals in the region continues. Due to the lack of a Covid zone in the Silistra region, patients on home treatment cannot benefit from the decision of the Ministry of Health for free medicines from the Health Insurance Fund for Covid-19 patients.
