On October 5 and 6, 2021, Bulgaria will participate in the international tourism exhibition UITM 2021 in Kiev (Ukraine). This is the largest autumn tourism exhibition on the Ukraine market  (UITT & UITM), according to the Ministry of Tourism. Bulgaria's goal is to continue to advertise on the Ukrainian market as an attractive tourist destination and a place for year-round recreation.

The focus of Bulgaria's participation is "ski vacation in Bulgaria" and "New Year's programmes". For the period January - June 2021, Bulgaria was visited by 83,972 tourists from Ukraine, which is an increase of 103.4% compared to the same period in 2020, the website bgtourism.bg notes.
