15% of Bulgarians say they know what Bulgaria’s position for a successful energy transition is: survey

Green scepticism is not very popular in Bulgaria. The youngest and people with university degrees are the biggest supporters of green policies, indicates a survey conducted by Trend sociological agency.

68% of the respondents describe climate change as a real threat, 62% say that combatting climate change must be a priority for the EU. In spite of this the majority - 73% - do not know what the aims of the Green Deal and the EU’s plan of achieving carbon neutrality are.

80% state they do not know what Bulgaria’s position for a successful energy transition is. 15% state they do.
