Bulgaria records minimal decrease in number of new daily Covid infections

3,183 are the new cases of coronavirus registered in Bulgaria for the past 24 hours, which is 144 less infected than on Thursday. 17% are the positive samples from over 18,700 tests, according to the National Coronavirus Information Portal. 85% of the newly infected citizens have not been vaccinated.

The registered active patients in Bulgaria are currently 57,057. A total of 5,867 patients are hospitalized, with 493 in intensive care. 721 persons are newly admitted to hospitals. 90 percent of them have not been vaccinated.

In the last 24 hours, 98 people with established Covid-19 have died. Almost 94% of them were not vaccinated. The number of recoveries is 1,486.

8,064 vaccines were given on Thursday. 1,377,516 Bulgarian citizens now have complete immunization. A third dose has been administered to 6,970 people.
