On Monday, October 18, Minister of Health Stoycho Katsarov convenes an extraordinary meeting of the Expert Council on Epidemiology, at which the tightening of anti-Covid measures, according to proposals by the Chief State Health Inspector Angel Kunchev, will be discussed. Currently, a full lockdown in the country is not necessary, Katsarov said. Decisions about restrictions will be taken according to the situation in a given district. They will also be sent to businesses and industry organizations for discussion in order to make a final objective decision.
Kunchev offers two alternative types of measures - use of a green certificate, PCR or antigen test without restrictions on the capacity of public places, or additional restrictions and suspension of certain activities.
