The number of heavy trucks passing through the Silistra-Calarasi ferry terminal across the Danube has been growing. A report by BNR Shumen shows that 970 trucks passed in both directions in the past week. This is the first time this has happened since the ferry started operating on March 14 this year.

Two months ago, just 700 trucks used to cross the Danube near Silistra for a week.
