Banks in Bulgaria continue to raise fees

Raising bank fees for basic payment services is a process that has been observed in Bulgaria for several years. According to a check conducted by the Bulgarian National RAdio, the trend of increasing the most popular fees - account maintenance fee, bank transfer fees, ended with an increase in the price of transfers. 

From the beginning of next year, one of the largest banks in Bulgaria will introduce a fee for ATM withdrawals for retirees, in the amount of a percentage, when withdrawing from its ATMs. On the other hand, package services are introduced, which according to the habits of pensioners can be profitable. 
In recent months, there has been an increase in the price of cash services, but according to experts, the fees on the bank accounts themselves will no longer increase.
