More than 23,000 people have passed away in Bulgaria since the beginning of pandemic

The number of newly infected people with coronavirus in this country for the past day reached 3,354. This is 1,472 cases less in comparison to Saturday. 87.81% of the newly infected are non-vaccinated citizens. 13.3% of 25,323 tests returned positive result, according to the portal coronavirus.bg.

There are 78,518 registered active patients and 6,792 patients are in hospital. 602 patients are in intensive care. In the past 24 hours, 58 people with Covid passed away. 95 percent of them were non-vaccinated.The number of recoveries reached 310. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 23,033 Bulgarians have lost the battle against the virus.

11,690 coronavirus vaccines were administered on Saturday. There are now 1,436,426 people with full immunization in Bulgaria.
