Radoslav Rosenov in the 60-kg category and William Cholov in the 75-kg category won gold medals. Daniel Kirilov in the 57 kg category and Kiril Borisov in the heaviest category (+92 kg) won bronze medals.
The championships ended in the best possible way for the young Bulgarian boxers. Initially, referees placed Rosenov second in the match against Alexey Shendrik but the result was contested and at the end the Bulgarian grabbed the gold.
