Bulgaria makes Covid-19 Green Certificates obligatory for most indoor activities

1,370 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 10,544 tests performed, data of coronavirus.bg show. 87% of the new coronavirus cases are among unvaccinated.

The number of active cases of Covid-19 has increased to 79,312. 6,912 patients are being treated in hospital, 600 of them in intensive care units. 90% of the new Covid-19 hospitalizations are among unvaccinated.

40 people have died and 536 have been reported cured in the past day. All but one Covid-19 deaths were among unvaccinated.

A total of 7,156 vaccine doses were administered in Bulgaria on Sunday.

As of October 25, the Covid-19 Green Certificate becomes mandatory for most indoor activities, except for the public transport, pharmacies, banks, food shops and medical establishments.
