Today is International Mavrud Day

Today is international Mavrud day, Mavrud being one of the best appreciated, oldest and most emblematic Bulgarian grape varieties, a wine which is ruby-coloured, and with blackberry and ripe mulberry notes.

Mavrud day is an annual wine event which aims to popularize Bulgarian wine and wine tourism among local and foreign wine lovers, as well as the quality and the diversity of the wines produced in Bulgaria.
