A heavy road accident blocked the Sofia-Varna main road near the village of Ledenik, Veliko Tarnovo district, due to a collision between a cardo vehicle and a tank truck carrying fuel.
The driver of the tank truck, which exploded into flames, died in the accident. The driver of the other cargo vehicle suffered burns and was taken to a hospital in Veliko Tarnovo. Several fire engines were sent to the place of the accident. The fire has been put out.
