The team of Balkan Varvara has filed a lawsuit in the Sofia City Court for annulment of all decisions from the extraordinary congress of the Bulgarian Football Union (BFU) held on October 12, at which Borislav Mihaylov was re-elected president of the union. This was announced in his social network profile by the candidate for the presidency Dimitar Berbatov.

Balkan Varvara is filing a lawsuit not only for preventing the club's delegate Georgi Gradev from participating in the congress, but also for other violations of the statute and the law.
Berbatov again called on the Bulgarian Football Union to publish the minutes and other documents of the congress immediately and accused the current leadership of trying to falsify the minutes.
