Bulgaria reports 4,955 new cases of Covid-19 out of 36,546 tests performed

4,955 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 36,546 tests performed, data of coronavirus.bg indicate. 13.6% of the tests have returned positive result. 85.25% of the new Covid-19 cases are among the unvaccinated.

The number of active cases of covid-19 increased to 115,052. 8,526 people are being treated in hospital, as 747 of them are in intensive care units. 90.6% of the new hospitalizations are among the unvaccinated. 147 people have died and 4,057 have been reported cured in the past day. 96% of the Covid-19 deaths are among the unvaccinated.

16,988 vaccine doses were administered in Bulgaria on Tuesday. There are now 580,000 people with completed immunization. 31,179 is the number of people with three vaccine doses.
